Pending MO Gambling Legislation as of February 1, 2010:
HB 1751 Sponsored by Representative Meadows (D), removes the provision that makes an excursion gambling boat licensee guilty of a class B misdemeanor if he or she exchanges tokens, chips, or other forms of credit to be used on games for anything of value. Second read in the House on Monday.
HJR 85 Sponsored by Representative Aull (D), proposes a constitutional amendment specifying who can participate in the operation of a bingo game. Introduced and first read in the House on Monday, second read on Tuesday.
HB 1807 Sponsored by Representative Franz (R), makes it mandatory that one cent of the one dollar required to be deposited in the gaming commission fund from admission fees for excursion gambling boats be deposited in the compulsive gamblers fund. First read in the House on Tuesday, second read on Wednesday.
HB 1826 Sponsored by Representative Tishaura Jones (D), prohibits imposition of penalties, suspension or revocation of an excursion gambling boat license due to inadequate declining performance. First read in the House on Tuesday, second read on Wednesday.
SB 839 Introduced by Senator Wright-Jones (D), modifies provisions of law regarding licensed gambling. First read in the Senate on Wednesday second read and referred to the Ways and Means Committee on Thursday.
